Yellow School Bus

I got on the freeway after dropping steven off this morning and I saw
two school buses...

I don't remember ever going on the freeway when I took the schoolbus
in elementary school......

We live far from my school too...is it because it's san
Francisco???...because they never used to take freeways???...or was it
just my school bus???...or maybe it's just that I never used to pay
attention....I wonder...

Since accessing blogger.com on safari won't allow me to post a new
blog...I read that I can send an email to post a blog entry...let's
try this out....

I was given a new task at work today...I'm gonna have to help with
vendor maintenance entry...that sucks...I'm already really busy at
work...c'mon...with emailing steven, alley, and sometimes
Philly...texting various people throughout the day...checking my
facebook and Twitter...handling my actual work projects...ur gonna add
another chunk to my plate???

I noticed today that I'm ok with my job now...I think it's because I
found out that my boss isn't too much of a boss after all...she sent
me an email last week with ":(" when our BIG boss requested a detailed
report...I suggested that we can stall the report until Houston takes
over...she actually told me that the thought has crossed her
mind...and today...she actually said that she was a "bitch"...I
thought that was pretty funny...

I guess now I feel less pressure...:)

ok...let's see if this works...

PS...I tried this via text and it would not work...so I posted a
shorter post via text...and it worked!!! Maybe posting this thru email
would work wonders!!!

Monday Blues~~

I've been having the Monday Blues since 10pm last night...even thought about calling in sick...:P

but...for the sake of $$...I still dragged my ass to the shower this morning and got ready.......

today is SOOOO not a good day to be sitting in a FREEZING office working...today is the PERFECT day to stay home and BAKE!!...bake all day!!...:)

I love it!!...I love to bake stuff and seeing the happy smile on my loved ones' faces...:)

o well...i'm at work...not at home baking...

Conversation: Is your head dirty?

Last Friday, my boss, coworker Crystal & I were in the conference room folding/stuffing/sealing letters to get out. I hear coworker Crystal say to my boss, "Is your head dirty?"
Boss: "Yes!"
Crystal: "Mine is too!!"
Me (thinking very hard): "wait...what did you say??"
Crystal: "Oh...I asked if her head was hurting."
Me: "Ooooh...I thought you asked if her head was DIRTY. I was like wow...you guys have interesting conversations."
Boss: "How rude of you Crystal!"

New discovery...

I've recently discovered that I really like to swim and really like to play racquetball...

funny thing is...i dunno how to do either...:/

What a waste!!!

I just used a dollar and bought a Giant KitKat Bar from the vending machine at work...
I took one bite...and OMG!!!....that thing is SWEET!!!...

so...i took out a knife and cut the chocolate off of all four sides...leaving the wafer...chocolate on top and chocolate on the bottom...that's gotta be at least 75 cents that I scraped off....

if i ever decide to use a dollar and get this again...i'm also scraping off the top...

would you like me to save it for you?...

Back to the gym...Day 1...again...

It's been 5 weeks since we last went to the gym. So yesterday was our first day back. I was very surprised when Steven agreed to go on a Sunday!! I played 30 minutes Racquetball...then lounged around for another 30 minutes...then swam for 1 hour 15 minutes...

it felt good!!

so because the racquets that cal fit can provide are GAY!!!...steven & i bought racquets from Sports Authority yesterday. two people that have NO clue what the rules are to the game bought racquets!!!...

we don't really play the game to play the game but we play to exercise...it's just something for us to run around the court for...:)

probably no gym today...but i wanna go again tomorrow...:D

Been trying to get to all my daily sites and have been getting a message stating that the site will be blocked on 10/10/09...

wth???...what am i going to do at work now???...they're gonna be blocking facebook...my blogger...they won't even let me read news from news.google.com.hk...how am i gonna know about the happenings in HK????

You wanted me to call the IRS to ask how to resolve the issues with our file...
I ask you if they would be willing to talk to me because it is not my account...
You say they should...if not...then ask them what they need so you can call later...
I was hesitant...but I called anyways...after all...you're the boss...
After 45 minutes with 4 different phone numbers and 5 different IRS departments...I get to the correct place...
They ask me for my Username...I was speechless...I tell them that I don't have one...
They question me...then how are you using the TIN Matching website?? why are you using someone else' account??...
Again...speechless...
I copy down the information and put it on your desk...

You just wasted 55 minutes of my time!!!

Well...my boss does!!!...BIG TIME!!!

You set up a meeting for me to go over my findings with you...and you sit there and re-find what I've already found...and you have me watch you...what's the point????

If you want to find it anyways...then why have me do it???...and once I do it...you decide that you're gonna read my findings to me????

I put notes in my findings so that you can easily refer to it without my help...but yet...you don't read my notes and you ask me about it...why????

ok...i'm done!!!...i'm over it!!!...SOOOO over it!!!

The Search for an Egg Salad Sandwich...

Had to run by Walgreens today to get myself some generic Mucinex D...

First of all...WHYYYYYY do you have to take Halloween decorations OUTSIDE of the Halloween section??...I don't really appreciate giant monsters and giant spiders everywhere I go in search of my Mucinex D!!!

So...I leave Walgreens and was craving for an Egg Salad Sandwich. I have no clue where a Togo's might be in Folsom...so I decided to drive around...took this road thinking that I may see a Togo's or a UPS Store (have some returns to make) and I end up at the shopping center by work...

I drive into this shopping center and my food options are:
1. Safeway
2. All-You-Can-Eat Japanese Restaurant
3. Starbucks
4. Mom & Pop Sandwich Shop
5. Panda Express

I thought about going into Starbucks to see if they have an egg salad sandwich...but then i figured that I'll just make it for dinner (if Steven permits) tonight...

So...I had Panda Express...I ate lotsa Calories...but yet haven't satisfied ANY sorta cravings that I have...

but my fortune cookie says..."A surprise gift from another will leave a lasting impression."...

so does it mean i'm getting a surprise gift anytime soon??...or is it just telling me that if someone else gives you a surprise gift...it'll leave a lasting impression??????????

It was meant to be...

Sorry Mr. Toast...It was meant to be...

As I was leaving for work this morning...I happily & excitedly put two slices of bread in a ziploc bread. I was anticipating the same yummy butter & jam toast I had for breakfast yesterday. I got in the car and realized that we had leftover Starbucks pastries from yesterday afternoon, which is supposed to be my breakfast this morning.

On the way to work...I was thinking about toast...yummy yummy toast!...so I decide that the Starbucks pastries would have to wait...

I got to work...prepared my toast...spread butter & jam on them...and juggled (or tried to) my plate with two toasts hanging off the paper plate, my large cup of hot coffee and my empty water cup back to my desk...

Little do I know...my fingers were against the hot coffee cup...and i suddenly realized a burning sensation at my knuckles...so I tried to one-handedly move my fingers without dropping both cups...

I guess I was a little bit involved in the hot coffee situation that I did not realize that the plate in my left hand is no longer parallel to the floor...next thing...Mr. Toast fell down!!!...

I was sooooo sad (but definitely not sad enough to pick it up and eat it!)...so I picked up Mr. Toast and buried him in the deep deep garbage can...

So...for breakfast this morning...I had Mrs. Toast (or maybe it was Mr. Toast and it was Mrs. Toast that died of an accident)...half of a Starbucks Classic Coffee Cake...and my yummy Hot Coffee that I sacrificed Mr. Toast to save...

Age difference...does it matter???

A Malaysian couple is filing for divorce after being married many years...the 107 year old wife is divorcing her 37 year old husband due to his drug addiction...

I'm thinking that there's a reason for his drug addiction...and for the first time ever...I kinda understand................

Phone Etiquette

So...what's the phone etiquette when you call someone and the person on the side of the line yells back??...if you're in a quiet place...do you yell back?...or do you whisper???

Phone Interviews

I had a phone interview today...I was sooo nervous...I was about to shit my pants!!!

I received a call from the company recruiter at around 10:30 asking me if i had a couple of minutes. I told him that I will hafta give him a call back during my lunch...1pm. I was told that I may not hear from anyone in a while, and even if i did...i didn't expect to have a phone interview out of nowhere that wouldn't have given me ample time to prepare had i not requested to call him back.

So...was he expecting me to give him a call back or was he expecting that I would have everything prepared and ready for his questioning?

Conversation: Have you seen the losers out here?

As we were leaving work today, coworker Crystal asked, "Have you ever seen the losers out here?"
Me: "..........No."
Crystal: "They're always out here. They're so creepy, they sometimes jump out in front of you."
Me (thinking...VERY creepy...): "What?"
Crystal: "The lizards...they'll jump out in front of you."
Me: "Oh...lizards...I thought you said losers...cuz that would be VERY creepy..."

2-3 weeks after the start of classes at Sac State...people have started cutting classes...

Ever since Sac State started semester of Fall 2009, there has been major traffic in the Sac State area before and after work.

Today...there was NO traffic...before AND after work...
